Russell and Deborah Jones are now the the sole owners and work together. Russ has been working in the trenches of this job since a young boy and knows irrigation ditches better than anyone. Deb specializes in the bookkeeping to keep the business running smoothly.

History of Jones Concrete

When Jones Concrete was incorporated, the brothers Sherman and Bryant Jones founded the ditchlining business.

Jones concrete was a family business and their sons went to work to learn the trade. When Bryant left the business, Sherman’s cousin Blaine Jones joined the business. Later in 1977, Blaine left the business and Russell and Deborah joined the business. Russell and Deborah are now the sole owners of the company.

Russ and Deb are the primary workers at Jones Concrete, although sometimes on days we pour the cement ditch, Russell’s brothers, Lamarr and Aaron will come and help.

Now the company is moving towards a new generation of workers – grandchildren! We have come to depend on their help to do the ditches. Some we are training from an early age!
